Subrogation is the legal right of an insurer to recoup the amount of insurance claim it paid to a policyholder by suing the party responsible for the damages. However, many insurance companies miss the opportunities offered by subrogation as they often neglect to pursue their right, or they do so, but with ineffective subrogation practices.

She has been practicing law for twenty-five years in the areas of large loss property subrogation, insurance defense and coverage analysis. She handles a wide range of large loss subrogation matters, from pre-suit investigation through trial, including claims arising from fires, floods, freeze failures, product defects, construction defects and explosions as they pertain to commercial and residential property losses. She is an active member in the National Association of Subrogation Professionals and recently spoke at their annual seminar. She is admitted in Colorado and Kansas, and she also handles cases in UT, WY, MO, ND and SD. She was named a Super Lawyer by 5280 Denver Magazine, Individual Listing, five years in a row and is active in the legal community.
