Michael A. Fazio practices in a wide variety of litigation areas with a particular focus on mass torts and products liability litigation. He has substantial experience in defending complex class actions, including those involving claims for medical monitoring, property damage and consumer fraud. Mr. Fazio’s clients include companies from the performance materials, consumer goods and pharmaceutical industries.
Mr. Fazio has experience with many aspects of litigation strategy, including fact discovery, expert discovery, motions practice and appeals. In addition, he is well-versed in developing expert witnesses and preparing company witnesses for depositions. Further, he frequently prepares partners and senior attorneys for court hearings and advises them on various legal matters concerning class certification, civil procedure and attorney-client privilege.

James DeMay began his law career in 2007 with Ferguson, Scarbrough & Hayes, PLLC. After years of partnering with Dan Bryson, Scott Harris, and Hunter Bryson, Mr. DeMay made the decision to join the Milberg team in 2021, focusing his practice on municipal law and land-use litigation.
With a specific interest in the area of development impact fees, Mr. DeMay is successful in defending the rights of private landowners against unauthorized or unfair impact fee charges. His experience includes representing both municipalities and private landowners in complex civil matters involving statutory and municipal ordinance violations, as well as other matters.
