Introduction
The Knowledge Group, LLC (“TKG”) respects each individual’s right to privacy. We will collect and use information through our website only in the ways disclosed in this statement. This statement applies solely to information collected at TKG’s Web site. For a full list of Terms and conditions please click the link found at the bottom of the page.

Part I. Information Collection
TKG collects information through our website at several points. We collect the following information about primary visitors: User Initiated & Confirmed Opt-In Email List via the “Register now!” Function, the number and frequency of visitors (Visitor Reports), where visitors go and how often they stay (Page Reports), and where visitors come from (Referrer Reports).

TKG does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.

We collect the general data that is not personally identifiable information. We collect demographic data in order to measure regional response rates to publicity initiatives & market research.

We collect this information through:

  • User Initiated & Confirmed Opt-In Email List – The information is collected voluntarily
  • Traffic Facts web traffic analysis tool – The information is collected involuntarily. Other information we request is optional.

We do employ cookies. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places on a user’s computer hard drive to be a unique identifier. Cookies enable TKG to track usage patterns and deliver customized content to users. Our cookies do not have an expiration date. Our cookies do not collect personally identifiable information.

Banner advertising appearing on our website may collect the following information: referring information only if the visitor clicks on the ad.

Part II. Information Usage
The information collected by TKG will be used for demographic analysis and marketing research. Users who provide information via the opt-in email function will receive email announcements on upcoming seminars and product offerings.

Registered users may receive additional announcements from us about products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.

The information we collect will not be used to create customer profiles based on browsing or purchasing history. We will not supplement information collected at our Website with data from other sources such as credit history to authorize purchases.

We may share data with the following third parties: sponsors, partners, and attendees of seminars. These third parties will use the information as follows: market research. Users may opt out to have their information shared with third parties by sending an email stating so to [email protected].

We offer links to other websites. Please note: when you click on links to other websites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours.

Our Website offers chats, forums and message boards. Please be advised that information posted in these venues become public knowledge.

If our policy on information collection or uses changes, will advise you by means of posting it to this website via an addendum within 30 business days of the change.

Part III. Access to Information
TKG maintains the accuracy of our information by periodic audits. Users may access their own personal information and contact us about inaccuracies they may find & users may delete their information from our database by sending a request to [email protected] with “Privacy Issues” in the subject along with the request in the body of the email.

Part IV. Problem Resolution
If problems arise, users may contact TKG by sending an email to [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Issues” along with a description of the issue and contact information in the body of the email. We are committed to resolving disputes within seven business days of the request.

Part V. Data Storage and Security
TKG protects user information with the following security measures: secure servers, firewalls, and encryption.

Part VI. The Knowledge Group – Annual/Monthly Access Pass
With our Annual/Monthly Access Passes, you can access live and on-demand recordings as many times as you want for the duration of the subscription, you can use these courses to earn CLE credits (where applicable). Certificates are issued upon the completion of a post webcast survey as a proof of attendance, required by states bars and boards. We make effort to ensure that a significant number of our courses are pre-approved in as many states as possible. If the course is not pre-approved in your particular state, we will try and earn CLE approval on your behalf where applicable. State filling fees will be charged for states requiring CLE fees. When a course has not been pre-approved and you do not want to pay for state filing fees, we will issue a certificate of completion and support the attendee in the application for CLE credits. The Knowledge Group’s Annual/Monthly Access Passes is subject to fair usage. We allow up to five (5) event registrations per day. The Knowledge Group reserves the right to suspend and/or terminate accounts that are suspected of misuse, fraudulent activity or any other activity that is considered a breach of the companies terms and conditions.

Part VII. Group Registration Policy
Please note ALL participants must be registered or they will not be able to access the event. If you have more than one person from your company attending, you must fill out the group registration form.

We reserve the right to disconnect any unauthorized users from this event and to deny violators admission to future events.

Part VIII. Cancellation/Refund Policy:
For single event registration, cancellation requests must be sent via email to [email protected] with “Cancellation” in the subject.  Refunds will be issued if the cancellation request is made on or prior to 2 weeks before the event. Cancellation requests made after that date will entitle the registrant to receive a full recording of the event 24-48 hours after the live webcast. Alternatively, if the registrant has a scheduling conflict and cannot attend the live event, the registration fee may be transferable or may be credited to another employee within the same organization so he/she may participate in the live event.

For state, all access pass, and multiple credit bundles, a full refund can be given once the written request has been received as outlined above. Your full refund will be processed within 24-48 working hours.  Please note that a full refund cannot be guaranteed following the issue of continuing education credit, certificate of attendance or any other form of proof-of-study following the completion of any post webcast material.

Personal Information (GDPR Compliance)
The Knowledge Group always treats your data with the utmost care. We will send you details of upcoming events and thought-provoking articles via email.  We tailor our emails based on the information you provide (e.g. practice area) and use other data for certificate of completion generation.
