New Hampshire CLE Requirements

Whether you’re an experienced or newly admitted New Hampshire attorney, here’s what you need to know about the CLE rules and how to get your New Hampshire CLE Requirements fulfilled with a Knowledge Group CLE Bundle.

New Hampshire CLE Requirements: All attorneys admitted to practice in New Hampshire shall complete twelve (12) credit hours of continuing legal education including at least two (2) credit hours of legal ethics, professionalism or the prevention of malpractice, substance abuse or attorney-client disputes.

Compliance Deadline: June 30

Reporting Deadline: July 1

Compliance Cycle: Annual

Approval of Programs: Effective July 1, 2014, New Hampshire MCLE Board will no longer certify CLE programs for approval. Attorneys admitted in New Hampshire will self-certify program adequacy and self-report activity.

Program Format: The Knowledge Group LIVE Webcasts qualify as live programming in New Hampshire. There is no limit to the number of credits a New Hampshire attorney can earn via live programming. View our list of LIVE Webcasts.

The Knowledge Group Recorded Webcasts qualify as self-study in New Hampshire. Attorneys are limited to six (6) credit hours of self-study per reporting period. View our list of Recorded Webcasts.

Reporting Procedure: Beginning July 1, 2014, New Hampshire attorneys will self-certify program adequacy and self-report activity. The Knowledge Group cannot report attorney attendance.

New Hampshire CLE Requirements For Newly Admitted Attorneys: Attorneys admitted in New Hampshire between July 1st and September 30th must comply for the year ending the following June 30th. Attorneys admitted October 1st-June 30th are exempt from the requirement for the year that ends on that June 30th.
