Colorado CLE Requirements: All attorneys admitted to practice in Colorado shall complete forty-five (45) credit hours of continuing legal education including at least seven (7) credit hours of professional responsibility. At least two (2) credit hours in the area of equity, diversity, and inclusivity, and at least five (5) credit hours in the areas of legal ethics or legal professionalism.

CO CLE Reporting Procedure: The Knowledge Group does not submit attendance report to Colorado Board of CLE. Attorneys must self-report their attendance via CLE online affidavit system.

CO CLE Requirements For Newly Admitted Attorneys: The first compliance period begins on the date of the attorney’s admission to practice law in CO, and ends on December 31 of the third full calendar year following the year of admission.
