Arkansas CLE Requirements

Whether you’re an experienced or newly admitted Arkansas attorney, here’s what you need to be in the know about the AR CLE rules and how to get your Arkansas CLE Requirements fulfilled with a Knowledge Group CLE Bundle.

Arkansas CLE Requirements: All attorneys admitted to practice in Arkansas shall complete twelve (12) credit hours of continuing legal education including at least one (1) credit hour of ethics which may include professionalism.

Compliance Deadline: June 30

Reporting Deadline: July 31

Compliance Cycle: Annual

Approval of Programs: The Knowledge Group does not submit application for CLE credits in Arkansas. TKG webcasts are pre-approved in California thus, attendees may claim credits in Arkansas through reciprocal accreditation.

Arkansas CLE Requirements Program Format: The Knowledge Group LIVE webcasts qualify as “Live Interactive Computer based” in Arkansas. There is no limit to the number of credits an Arkansas attorney can earn via Live Interactive Computer based programs. View our list of LIVE Webcasts and Recorded Webcasts.

The Knowledge Group Recorded Webcasts do not qualify for credits in Arkansas.

AR CLE Reporting Procedure: The Knowledge Group does not submit attendance report to Arkansas CLE Board. Attorneys may earn credits through reciprocity. Submit a completed certificate of attendance form or other documentation confirming attendance at an out-of-state continuing legal education program approved by the situs state, the attorney shall be entitled to CLE credits in Arkansas.

For Newly Admitted Attorneys: Newly-admitted attorneys in the state of Arkansas shall be subject to the twelve-hour minimum requirement during the reporting period that follows the reporting period in which they are admitted.
