Arizona CLE Requirements

Whether you’re an experienced or newly admitted Arizona attorney, here’s what you need to be in the know about the AZ CLE rules and how to get your Arizona CLE Requirements fulfilled with a Knowledge Group CLE Bundle.

Arizona CLE Requirements: All attorneys admitted to practice in Arizona shall complete fifteen (15) credit hours of continuing legal education including at least three (3) credit hours of professional responsibility.

Compliance Deadline: June 30

Reporting Deadline: September 15

Compliance Cycle: Annual

Approval of Programs: The Knowledge Group does not submit application for CLE credits in Arizona. The State Bar of Arizona does not certify courses or providers. Arizona lawyers are required to independently review the bar’s regulations and make their own determination that it qualifies for credit towards their MCLE requirements.

Program Format: The Knowledge Group webcasts qualify as interactive in Arizona. There is no limit to the number of credits an Arizona attorney can earn via TKG’s webcasts. View our list of LIVE Webcasts and Recorded Webcasts.

AZ CLE Reporting Procedure: The Knowledge Group does not submit attendance report to Arizona Bar.

For Newly Admitted Attorneys: New members/registrants admitted or registered with the State Bar of Arizona during the first half of an educational year (July to December) have a reduced requirement of 10 total hours, of which two are professional responsibility. Members/registrants admitted or registered with the Bar during the second half of an educational year (January to June) have no CLE requirement for that year.
