Wisconsin CPE Requirements

CPE Requirements: Continuing Education credits are not required by the Wisconsin Accounting Examining Board unless the CPA’s license has been expired for more than 5 years. However, you may be required to fulfill continuing education credit hours for your employer or association membership.

Compliance Deadline: Renew online here https://online.drl.wi.gov/UserLogin.aspx. Please allow at least 2 business days for processing of online renewal. Some credential types must mail or fax in additional documentation, which extends processing time. To assure that your credential does not expire, please begin your renewal at least 10 business days before the expiration date.
Reporting Period: 12/14 of odd years
Compliance Cycle: Biennial
Approval of Programs: The Knowledge Group meet the NASBA/AICPA CPE Standards for Group-Internet Based Courses.
The Knowledge Group, LLC is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority of the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
