Connecticut CLE Requirements

Whether you’re an experienced or newly admitted Connecticut attorney, here’s what you need to be in the know about the CT CLE rules and how to get your Connecticut CLE Requirements fulfilled with a Knowledge Group CLE Bundle.

Connecticut CLE Requirements: All attorneys admitted to practice in Connecticut shall complete twelve (12) credit hours of continuing legal education including at least two (2) credit hours of ethics/professionalism.

Compliance Deadline: December 31

Reporting Deadline: Annual attorney registration (January – March)

Compliance Cycle: Annual

Approval of Programs: The Knowledge Group does not submit application for CLE credits in Connecticut. TKG webcasts are pre-approved in California and therefore pre-approved in Connecticut.

Program Format: The Knowledge Group webcasts may fulfill MCLE requirements in Connecticut. There is no limit to the number of credits a Connecticut-admitted attorney can earn via TKG’s webcasts. View our list of LIVE Webcasts and Recorded Webcasts.

CT CLE Reporting Procedure: The Knowledge Group does not submit attendance report to Connecticut MCLE Commission. Attorneys must self-report their compliance during the annual attorney registration and maintain proof of compliance for seven years.

For Newly Admitted Attorneys: Newly admitted attorneys should comply with the rules in the calendar year following their admission or certification.
