The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic presents a higher degree of challenge for employers and employees, giving a significant rise to workplace-related tort claims being filed. Fortunately, the federal and state levels had proposed legislative actions to help protect employers in preventing these potential tort liability threats.
However, companies and their counsel still need to be well versed and well equipped with other preventive measures in keeping their employees and workplace safe while avoiding legal risk liabilities.
