Overview:

The concept of a free and open marketplace remains to be a priority under the Biden Administration as antitrust authorities continue to impose stringent regulations against deceptive practices and unfair competition. Increased scrutiny is likely to persist as regulatory agencies consider revamping existing antitrust legislation to further provide higher quality products and services to consumers, while efficiently responding to the growing competition concerns.

Recently, a federal judge has dismissed two major antitrust complaints against Facebook, digging more into the issue of updating century-old monopoly laws to regulate technology giants which have proliferated abruptly. As such, investing in effective antitrust compliance programs is important now more than ever to address potential antitrust risks.

This course offers an overview of the emerging trends and best practices with respect to antitrust legislation. In a LIVE Webcast, a panel of thought leaders and practitioners will help firms and companies navigate the recent developments in this area of law.

Key topics include:

  • Antitrust Legislation: Legal Overview
  • Emerging Antitrust Trends and Developments
  • Most Notable Antitrust Cases
  • Best Compliance Practices
  • Antitrust Outlook
