Broadcast Date: Thursday, January 21, 2021
from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm (ET)

Overview:

With today’s rapidly evolving legal and political landscape, complicated by the COVID-19 crisis, the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Antitrust Division and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) continue to aggressively enforce the antitrust laws across industries to respond to concerns about rising prices, loss of choice and privacy, and industry consolidation.

These trends, along with current and anticipated enforcement actions, are important for companies to understand as they look forward to 2021. Companies must be proactive in realigning their practices with the current antitrust regulatory standards to ensure sound compliance and manage legal risk.

In this LIVE Webcast, antitrust lawyers Peter Mucchetti (Clifford Chance) and Megan Browdie (Cooley LLP) will provide the audience with an in-depth analysis of antitrust enforcement trends. Speakers will underscore the importance of these developments for companies navigating a changing legal climate. They will also present practical strategies and best practices to manage risks and compliance liabilities.

Some of the major topics that will be covered in this course are:

  • Trends and Developments in Antitrust Law
  • Notable Cases and Court Rulings
  • Enforcement Actions
  • Best Compliance Practices
  • What Lies Ahead
