Todd Patrick is a Principal in the Corporate Value Consulting practice and the national leader of the Tax Value Solutions team. Tax Value Solutions professionals work with management teams to identify tax strategies, assess and quantify the connections between shareholder value and these strategies, and issue opinions of value. Todd brings his extensive experience to the valuation of businesses and their underlying intellectual property and intangible assets.  For more than twenty years, he has assisted clients with business enterprise valuations, common and preferred stock valuations, mergers and acquisition analysis, trade name and patent portfolio valuations. His clients have ranged from multinational corporations to start-up companies. Todd has advised clients for financial and tax reporting, litigation support and strategic planning purposes.

Christopher DeBaere, CFA, Principal

Chris DeBaere is an expert in the valuation of intellectual properties and technology-related businesses.  With extensive experience working for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, software and hardware developers, and consumer products companies, Mr. DeBaere specializes in analyzing complex transactions and determining damages in intellectual property and commercial disputes.

Mr. DeBaere prepares business and intellectual property valuations for transactions and litigated matters, including shareholder freeze-outs and bankruptcy proceedings.  He has particular experience valuing interests in privately-held entities with complex capital structures.  Mr. DeBaere also assists patent holders in developing licensing and monetization strategies, and he is regularly engaged to value patents and other intellectual properties.
