Broadcast Date: Monday, September 27, 2021
from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm (ET)

Overview:

The past years have seen sweeping changes in antitrust law regulation and 2021 is no different especially with the start of  President Joe Biden’s administration. With more emphasis on enforcement and stricter regulation, the Department of Justice (DOJ) Antitrust Division and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) continue their aggressive stance on major technology companies, vertical mergers, cartel behavior, labor markets, and healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. The regulatory paradigm also presents a myriad of uncertainties as the new agency leadership is yet to be announced.

These notable changes underscore the need for companies to keep themselves informed of emerging developments and issues in antitrust law. Devising effective antitrust compliance programs is also crucial to avoid legal liabilities.

In this LIVE CLE Webcast, antitrust & competition lawyers Fabian Leimgruber (ThomannFischer) and Todd Seelman (Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP) will discuss the recent developments and critical issues surrounding the antitrust law under U.S. President Biden’s administration. Speakers will also discuss key enforcement priorities as well as share practical tips and strategies to help companies remain compliant amid the changing landscape.

In a LIVE webcast, the speakers will discuss:

  • Antitrust Law: Regulatory Trends and Developments
  • Key Enforcement Priorities Under the Biden Administration
  • Critical Issues and Challenges
